Lab day 6: Eye dissection External parts of the eye: Cornea, sclera and optic nerve Procedure: 1. Put the eye so you have the cornea on the left and the optic nerve on the rigth. Now you should choose a place to make a cut and separate the eye in two pieces, you should be able to see the cornea. 2. Observe the vitreous humor that is inside the eye. The aquous humor is also there. 3 .You can see the retina that is connected to the choroid at one place. This is the blind spot. 4. Remove the vitreous humor to see the lens. 5. Near the lens there are the ciliary body and the supensory ligaments. You should see them. 6. Remove the lens. 7. You should see an opening in the center of the iris. This is the pupil. Betwwen the iris and the cornea there is the aquous humor. I wasn't this day either so I don't have photos of my self. But I hopefully was able to obtain this practice. Sorry.
